“Children are the source of hope for the future.”
-- St. John Paul II
Our center provides an excellent preschool class for older toddlers and younger pre-kindergartners. The teacher’s focus is to encourage faith development, self independence, creativity, socialization and language acquisition by participating in skills such as arts and crafts and music.
Our teachers prepare your pre-kindergartner for kindergarten in a loving, warm and secure environment while introducing reading readiness, pre-math, music, outdoor play, arts and crafts, and science and nature which are just some of the daily activities that we plan.
During the month of July, the center provides summer day-care felled with excitement and fun. An emphasis is placed on nature study, art and crafts, music, Christians formation and outdoor games. The Center is closed during the month of August.
This grant will help our project, The St. John Paul II Early Childhood Education Center Preschool to increase their presence in the diocese and thereby increase enrollment.
Newly opened this past January 2019 at 957 East Broad Street in downtown Columbus, and run by the Little Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, this Step Up to Quality Certified Preschool is accepting enrollment in their preschool and prekindergarten programs for the ages of three to five.
The preschool offers a Christ-centered secure environment, a quality early education including Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, and a flexible schedule. We are proud that our ministry is being acknowledged and supported for all the good work we do.
